While Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman was equally impressive with his message of hope, togetherness, and tolerance, BTS singer Jung Kook stole the stage with his new song, “Dreamers,” at the opening ceremony. The ceremony began on Sunday at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar, with a cultural performance before all of the World Cup songs were performed. The lighting design and music at the venue were both excellent. The crowd at the arena had a blast seeing Morgan Freeman and Jung Kook perform.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony begun at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar, to raucous applause from the crowd. After a 30-second countdown, everything started. Before the opening ceremony, French icon Marcel Desailly handed the World Cup trophy to the crowd. Fans cheered enthusiastically for the former football player as he hoisted the trophy to display it to them.

The Al Bayt Stadium has hosted a cultural performance to start the opening ceremony.One of the main attractions of the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony was Hollywood great Morgan Freeman. The crowd at the Al Bayt Stadium was enthralled by him and his acting. Following Morgan Freeman, the stadium was filled by mascots from past FIFA World Cups. A mashup of songs from past FIFA World Cups played simultaneously.
There was also some outstanding lighting on show. Following some stunning lightsaber performances and the FIFA World Cup songs, BTS frontman Jung Kook approached the stage to loud cheers. He sang the song “Dreamers” while being accompanied by Qatari vocalist Fahad Al Kubaisi. Jung Kook thrilled the crowd with his stunning performance.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani welcomed the world to Qatar for FIFA’s huge event after Jung Kook’s performance. The FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony came to a finish, as the World Cup 2022 was officially proclaimed open with fireworks at the Al Bayt Stadium.
