Mike Maignan has been struggling with calf injury for a while. With his terrific form in Serie A, goalkeeper is expected to be backup for Hugo Lloris. The 27-year-old was all ready to come back for the Rossoneri this week against Monza. However, the calf injury will keep him out of action. He is not expected to be available before early next year.

Didier Deschamps will be keeping a close eye on how his injury unfolds. The Serie A side has announced him out of the squad for 10 more additional days. After that, his injury will be re-evaluated. The Italian Sports magazine Gazzetta Dello Sport has reported that the player is set to miss World Cup. However, no official announcement has been made by the club or the player.

Deschamps will already be missing Kante in his World Cup squad. Paul Pogba has also been injury prone in his second stint at Juventus. The French coach will be keen to not broaden his injury list any further. Deschamps will be naming his World Cup squad in 9th November. The World Cup winning coach will certainly keep an eye on how things escalate in Milan.
