The Tottenham forward left the stadium in tears after the injury in the early minutes of the second half. Richarlison has been having a good season with Tottenham after his recent transfer in July from Everton. The Brazilian had faced a similar injury during his stint with Everton. That calf injury had sidelined him for two months. The world Cup will be starting in six weeks. However, the player is staying positive about his speedy recovery before what can be his World Cup debut. The forward had featured in two friendlies against Ghana and Tunisia for Brazil last month and had a high probability of being included in the squad.
Brazil will kick off its World Cup campaign against Serbia on 24th November. They have been grouped up with Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon. the Brazilian coach Tite will be keeping a close eye on the recovery of his dependable forward.
