On Monday, the India U-17 Women’s Team was defeated 1-3 by Sweden at Torremirona Relais in Spain. It was the first match of the Indian girls’ exposure tour on the eve of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup at home. Sudha Tirkey scored India’s only goal after Sweden U-17 girls took a 3-0 lead through Ida Gramfors, Sara Frigren, and Selma Astrom.
