Konami recently announced that they will end the PES series and will introduce a new football game known as eFootball. The rivalry between the two football games, FIFA and PES had been head to head till FIFA introduced the concept of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), which turned out to be a game changer for FIFA. Konami was not able to meet the sales standards as FIFA and PES also lagged with some gameplay issues but this time around Konami will restructure a whole new game with modern game physics and graphics. FIFA 22 vs eFootball: FIFA 22 will be coming out on October 1, 2021, Players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition will get early access to FIFA 22 on September 27, 2021. The HyperMotion Technology has been a major advancement for FIFA 22. EA includes over 4000 new animations that raise the physicality, responsiveness and intensity of players. The goalkeeper has been completely rebuilt from scratch and offers more realistic positioning and whole new animations which define the personality of top keepers. Players can now see the emotion of top level footballers trying to talk, point and give directions on the pitch.
Konami confirmed that eFootball is coming this autumn with a lot of advancements in the gameplay and graphical animations as well. Konami has used state of the art Xsens suits to gather motion capturing data and focuses on improving one-on-one duels and realistic player movements. Konami has built a customized Unreal Engine 4 to revamp the animations and game controls. It will be a free-to-play game and will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Series One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Konami aims to take Football eSports to the next level and achieve a much broader player base. eFootball will be available to play on multiple devices and the game is free-to-play.
