FA Cup Final: In the FA Cup semi-final, the Brighton vs Man United match turned into a nail-biting one as the match went to a penalty shootout. Manchester United finally won with a 6-7 scoreline in the shootout and progressed to the final where they will meet Manchester City on June 3. Ahead of the final Man City vs Man United match, boss, Erik Ten Hag issued a passionate message to the fans to keep faith in them as he promised to “give everything”. Manchester United took on Brighton last night at Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup semi-final match. With similar hard efforts from both sides, the match remained goalless till the end of the official 90 minutes of the game. It then remained 0-0 into the extra time as well, so the match went into the penalty shootout. It was anyone’s game from there.
Both teams managed to shoot the first 5 penalties, as well as the 6th penalty for their teams into the back of the net. During the 7th penalty, Brighton’s Solomon March misfired his shot over the bar of the goalpost. Man United did not waste this opportunity as Victor Lindelof came on and shot his penalty into the top right corner of the net and progressed into the final.

They will be facing Manchester City in the final. Man City will be especially determined because they are chasing the treble. However, after the semi-final ended, boss Erik Ten Hag promised the fans that they will give everything to win the second trophy for the team.
He said, “We will have to play the perfect game. It was the perfect game we played this season when we beat them and we have to go again, we know that. We will give everything and when I say everything, that is everything – the fans can rely on that.”
He added, “We will do everything to give them the second trophy – everything I have, everything the team have and everything the staff have, to get it done. We can do it, because we have proved it already. It’s not easy though, because they’re a great team, but we also have a great team.”
