F1 Spanish GP: Max Verstappen wins the Spanish Grand Prix: Max Verstappen wins the Spanish Grand Prix for the second time in his Formula 1 career. Red Bull takes home a 1-2 finish at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with Sergio Perez finishing second. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc had to retire from the race. Max Verstappen wins consecutive three races on the trot by claiming the Spanish Grand Prix. He was fighting with Russell for the third spot but finally, he crossed the chequered flag in the first place. He was followed by Sergio Perez in the second spot and George Russell claimed the third position and his second podium of the 2022 season.

Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz in his home race started the race on a bad note as he dropped positions but finally managed to cross the line in the fourth spot. He was followed by Lewis Hamilton in the fifth position. Valtteri Bottas had another great day on the track as he finished sixth overall and was followed by Esteban Ocon in the seventh spot.

Lando Norris was again amongst the points as he claimed the eighth spot. Moreover, he was followed by Fernando Alonso in the ninth spot. Alonso started the race in the last spot but in the end, he was among the points. Yuki Tsunoda had to settle for a tenth-place finish in Barcelona.

The veteran Sebastian Vettel took home the eleventh position in his Aston Martin AMR22. It was again a bad day in the office for McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo as he finished the race in the twelfth position. Pierre Gasly had to settle for a thirteenth place finish and was followed by Haas’ Mick Schumacher in the fourteenth spot.

Mick came very close to scoring his first points of the 2022 season but somehow that opportunity slipped right out of his hands. Lance Stroll managed to take the fifteenth spot overall as he was followed by Nicholas Latifi in the sixteenth spot.

Kevin Magnussen who collided with Hamilton in the first lap saw himself finish the race in the seventeenth spot. Alex Albon finished the race in the last position which is the eighteenth spot. It was heartbreak for Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc as he had to retire his car from the race.

Meanwhile, he was not the only driver who retired from the race. The rookie driver for Alfa Romeo Guanyu Zhou also retired from the race. This is his third retirement in six races so far.
