However, the race can in some cases be a bit tricky given there are fewer chances of an overtake, there’s still no getting away from exactly the way in which gifted the drivers should be to come by an outcome at this Grand Prix. Meanwhile, this time around things will get a little bit dicey as there’s a 60% chance of rain on the race day.

The second day of the weekend will stay the same with warm conditions and the temperatures going as high as 27 Celsius. But, there is a 0% chance of rain on Saturday which means having a good qualifying session will be important for the drivers.

    Conditions: Mostly sunny at first but clouds begin to build up in the afternoon. FP3: 27°C // Q: 26°C
    Maximum temperature expected: 27 Celsius
    Minimum temperature expected: 18 Celsius
    Chance of rain: 0%

The race day will see a change in the weather and the fans might be in for a classic encounter. When it rains on any track the difficulty level goes up a notch but when it rains at Monte Carlo, it even gets tougher. There is a 60% chance of rain on Sunday as the temperatures will go as high as 22 Celsius.

  • SUNDAY, MAY 29 – RACE WEATHER
    Conditions: Unsettled weather with rain showers possible. Race air temp: 22°C Maximum temperature expected: 22 Celsius
    Minimum temperature expected: 18 Celsius
    Chance of rain: 60%

In the 1984 Monaco GP, Ayrton Senna announced himself on the F1 scene and even got the tag of ‘Master of the rain’. Senna was in his rookie year and finished second in Monaco GP after torrid conditions. He was unlucky as the rain got suspended but his drive on that day will be remembered for many years to come.
