Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc won his first race since the Australian GP this year and also his first after not starting from the Pole position. This is also Ferrari’s first win at the Red Bull Ring since 2003 as it was Michael Schumacher who won here the last time around. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen had to settle for a second-place finish as Lewis Hamilton completed the podium with a third-place finish. Moreover, it is a back-to-back third-place finish for Hamilton.

George Russell had a great time today at the track as he claimed the fourth spot after serving a five-second penalty for causing a collision with Sergio Perez in the opening lap of the race. Alpine’s Esteban Ocon had a great day in the office as he managed to finish fifth overall and was followed by Mick Schumacher in the sixth position. Lando Norris saw himself in the points as he took home the seventh spot.

Then came the Dane driver of Haas, Kevin Magnussen who claimed the eighth spot as Haas as a team had a great day at the office after both their drivers scored points today. Daniel Ricciardo had to settle for a ninth spot and even scored points for himself and his team McLaren. Fernando Alonso, who dropped positions had to settle for a tenth-place finish.

Valtteri Bottas was looking comfortable for a tenth spot finish but was overtaken in the dying stages by Alonso and had to settle for an eleventh-place finish. He was followed by Alex Albon in the twelfth spot as the driver too dropped positions.

Lance Stroll claimed the thirteenth position and was followed by Guanyu Zhou in the fourteenth spot. Pierre Gasly had to settle for the fifteenth spot and was followed by teammate Yuki Tsunoda in the sixteenth position. Lastly, Sebastian Vettel finished in the seventeenth spot as three drivers had to retire from the Austrian GP. These three drivers were Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz and Nicholas Latifi.
