As reported by SportBible, “A deal is unlikely to be struck between EA and FIFA any time soon, with EA already trademarking the name of “EA Sports FC”. Meanwhile, FIFA has not ruled out the possibility of striking new deals with rival games publishers, opening the door for the likes of 2K.”

FIFA 22: The first impressions of the game are quite striking with the introduction of the HyperMotion Technology which uses state-of-the-art Xsens suits to motion capture data from 11v11 high-intensity football matches played by professional footballers and used advanced machine learning algorithms to integrate seamlessly into the game. EA has used real-world data to integrate true ball physics into the game. This includes point of contact, airspeed, drag, and many more factors.

In terms of gameplay, EA has worked on the defensive tactics and claim that they have maintained a realistic equilibrium between attack and defense. The game also has a new feature called Explosive Sprint which offers players more control while unleashing the acceleration of footballers when required. The goalkeeper has been completely rebuilt from scratch and offers more realistic positioning and whole new animations which define the personality of top keepers.
