Caldera is a map with tremendous amounts of vegetation all over. This has been a huge problem for players as it obstructs visibility. With all the bugs and glitches already present in Warzone, the last thing players needed were low visibility on a new map. Furthermore, hackers run amok on the grounds, bringing down the experience for all players.
Apart from the revamped Caldera, Warzone players will also be playing a brand new map, Fortune’s Keep. This map was also recently revealed with an innovative event involving cakes and content creators. Warzone Season 4 looks promising and players can expect a fresh start in the Battle Royale.

Call of Duty has announced the major changes that players will be able to see in the new version of Caldera. It will have new micro POIs with more loot than before. Amongst other surprises, players will be able to find secret underground ‘Mercenary Vaults.’ The nature of these vaults is yet to be revealed.

Furthermore, the biggest change on the island will be the reduction in the vegetation. Based on the official announcement, the new version of Caldera will house ‘50% less vegetation and better visibility.’

With less vegetation, players will find it easier to move around the island. Spotting enemies will also become easier for long-range and close-range alike. The extra loot is also another helpful factor for players who hot drop every match.

Warzone Season 4 release date is yet to be officially revealed and a lot more content is left to come in Season 3. However, based on the in-game Battle Pass timer, Season 4 of Warzone should be out by June 22, 2022.
