Deston Map (Code name- Kiki)
Deston map is going to be the addition to the PUBG Battleground map pool. The new 8×8 urban map (code name Kiki) will come with skyscrapers, swamplands, subways, and underwater buildings coming in late 2022.

Previously, Krafton posted the details of Kiki Map in a blog post where they stated,
“The 8×8 goodness doesn’t end with Tiger. In late 2021/early 2022, our 4th 8×8 map will launch. Kiki will boast a diverse set of locations, from mysterious underground labs to massive skyscrapers to swampland to subways to underwater buildings – we’re looking at many different locations to thrill and challenge survivors in our most diverse and exploration-focused Battleground yet. Planning for Kiki is still pretty early, but we’ll be back with more information later in the year.”
New Features
Check out all the new features available on Deston below.However, players must note that certain features may be implemented to the game following Deston’s release.
- ASCENDER – Krafton brings a new Ascender feature that rapidly mounts skyscrapers via the Ascender Ropes attached to buildings. Ascenders might be the only solution for players to reach higher floors in higher buildings!

AIRBOAT – This new flatboat uses its propeller to traverse both land and water. Players can enjoy a high-speed journey through the swamps areas and shallow/open water with the new Air Boat!
- O12- Krafton introduces the world’s fastest shotgun – the O12. PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’ very first high-capacity weapon noted for its extremely high rate of fire with slugs!
- Utility Parachute – This parachute will be fastened to every player in DESTON. Jump from a certain height, press the Interaction key, and drift as you please!
