ENG vs SA LIVE: SUPERMAN Tristan Stubbs takes stunning flying catch, Mumbai Indians find gets rid of dangerous Moeen Ali – Watch video

Mumbai Indians star Tristan Stubbs has made waves on the tour of England and the young all-rounder was again at it again on Sunday in Southampton. While the 21-year-old hit two boundaries in the four deliveries he faced, it was his fielding that helped South Africa seal a series win over Jos Buttler and Co.

England struggled to get going and matters got worse when Stubbs latched onto a stunning catch in a superman like effort. Moeen batting on three, caught a leading edge of Aiden Markram’s bowling, with Stubbs diving to his left to complete the catch. The ball seemed to be evading the 21-year-old but he kept his cool and judged his dive to perfection to put another nail in England’s coffin. Watch video:

Stubbs had in the first T20I stunned one and all with a whirling 72 off just 28 balls being the sole shining light of South Africa’s failed chase of 234. The 21-year-old was picked up by the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022 as a replacement for Tymal Mills and his performances are again a reminder of the five-time champions’ excellent scouting network.
