ENG vs NZ ICC knockouts record: England, New Zealand will face off in the first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 when the knockout stages of the tournament kick off this week. The two teams will be facing off for the first time in a knockout fixture since their meeting in the 2019 World Cup final at Lord’s. England and New Zealand will renew their rivalry in yet another ICC knockout fixture when they lock horns in the 1st semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup. The Kiwis have never beaten England in an ICC knockout game, but Kane Williamson and Co. will have the opportunity to do when they take the field on Wednesday.

Incidentally, the two teams had also met in the same stage during the last edition of the T20 World CUp, with England emerging victorious, before eventually losing to the West Indies in the final. New Zealand will be eyeing for a revenge this time around, while Eoin Morgan will hope that his side can continue the streak, with England aiming to become the first team to hold the 50-over and the 20-over World Cups simultaneously.
