Two losses in the opening 2 games of the inaugural WPL tournament have not tainted the spirits of the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women’s team. As is customary in Holi, Smriti Mandhana and Co were spotted in a friendly mood where she and her teammates celebrated the festival of colors with great pomp.
The RCB Women team skipper Smriti Mandhana was accompanied by Richa Ghosh and Heather Knighty in this festive mood. Among the foreign players, Sophie Devine turned out to be the biggest prankster, as the New Zealander was splashing colors to her RCB teammates and support staff members.
WPL 2023: RCB aim to get off the mark against Gujarat Giants, Mandhana confident of turning things around
Currently, RCB are at fourth on the points table owing to heavy losses. Mandhana & Co will next face Gujarat Giants, who are yet to win a game in two matches. With WPL being played only between five teams, the games will come thick and fast. RCB have to make a quick turnaround if they harbor hopes of winning the maiden WPL trophy.
