Delhi boy Anshul Jubli becomes the second Indian to earn a UFC contract
Jubli (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) took some showboating from Jeka Saragih (13-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in the opening round, but it just resulted in some consistent punishment. The 28-year-old “King of Lions” relied on his advantage in grappling with dragging Jeka Saragih to the ground in both the first and second rounds.
From there, he could take control of the situation and inflict harm. Jubli prevented Saragih from getting away in the second after he managed to do so in the first by hammering out the finish with a barrage of top punches.

After the win, Jubli exclaimed, “Namaste, UFC, we have arrived. India is here. Captain India is here.” He added, “We have dominated this fight and proved why we are here and were invited to the UFC… I plan to be the best in the world and do what needs to be done.”
