Speaking exclusively to InsideSport, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan said, “Dwaine Pretorius will miss the first game vs KKR. He is expected to join us today (Friday) and will enter a three-day quarantine.”

Pretorius was expected to join the squad after South Africa’s 3rd ODI against Bangladesh on March 23 just three days before IPL opener against KKR. As he is set to undergo the three-day quarantine before entering IPL’s bio-bubble, he will be available only from March 27, missing out on the first match.

He has now entered quarantine for 3 days. As reported earlier by InsideSport, Moeen will miss the first match for CSK vs KKR on Saturday.

Earlier on Wednesday, CSK released an official statement on Moeen and confirmed he will not be available for the game vs KKR. Though after the release of the statement Moeen got his visa on Thursday and immediately took the next available flight to India.
