Earlier, Sai Sudharshan unleased a carnage to hammer a stunning 96 run knock against MS Dhoni’s CSK. A breathtaking knock with 8 fours and 6 sixes helped Gujarat Titans amass a big total on the board. Wriddhiman Saha was the other star with 39-ball 54-run knock as GT posted 214/4 in 20 overs.
However, with rain interrupting the match, the revised target was 171 in 15 overs.
Dhoni won the toss and opted to bowl first against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 Final. Both teams are unchanged. The Final had to be moved to the reserve day after rain played spoilsport at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
