Ottniel Baartman joins Aiden Markram
The Port Elizabeth-based franchise had earlier signed Aiden Markram at the time of unrevealing the name of their new franchise. Markram played for SRH, where he scored 381 runs from 14 games during the IPL 2022 season. He was one of the high-profile signings made by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League (IPL) and has now followed his footsteps in the new CSA T20 League.
Ottniel Baartman is regarded as one of the best death-overs specialists and was part of the U-19 set-up in the past. In a CSA Provincial T20 Cup challenge last year, Baartman scalped four wickets for 20 and helped his side reach to the quarterfinals of the competition.

What is the CSA T20 League?
The new version of the South Africa T20 league will see latest addition of stars after revamping the older league version. The inaugural season of the CSA T20 League will see 6 teams fighting for the title. Each of the 6 teams has been bought by IPL franchisee teams. The tournament is scheduled to take place in the early months of next year.
ILT20 and BBL are the two major competitors of CSA T20 League. While ILT20 League has already got major players from West Indies, the CSA T20 League has retained South African players.
