Virat Kohli might have yet to score a run so far in the series but he has made his mark. The 36-year-old was a livewire on the field in the IND vs AUS 3rd ODI in Sydney. Kohli took a stunner to dismiss to see the back of an in-form Matthew Short on Saturday.
Reflexes on point! Virat Kohli takes a screamer
Virat Kohli is among India’s best fielders and the 36-year-old was at the centre of it all in Sydney on Saturday. Kohli was nimble as he covered a lot of gaps in the powerplay even as Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head eventually broke free. The 36-year-old comes with bundles of energy and was on full display while he fielded in the inner circle.
With Axar Patel and Washington Sundar tightening the screws, Virat Kohli was stationed at short mid wicket. Short tried to slog sweep the left-arm spinner and connected it with venom. However, he hit it straight at Virat who quickly grabbed it out of thin air. Even the camera panned ahead as the Short connected is sweep, only to roll back to see Kohli complete a stunning reflex catch.
