Rahul Dravid's son, all-rounder Samit ignored at Maharaja Trophy 2025 Auctions

Unlike his father, Samit Dravid is a fast bowling all-rounder, who rose through the ranks and performed well at the Cooch Behar Trophy.

In what comes as a bit of a surprise, Rahul Dravid‘s son, Samit went unsold in the 2025 KSCA Maharaja T20 Auction, on Tuesday. This, especially after he played for Mysuru Warriors in the 2024 edition. Having said that, despite winning the trophy, Samit Dravid wasn’t the most impressive, with his performances.

As far as his record in the 2024 Maharaja Trophy is concerned, he went on to score only 82 runs in the seven matches he played, at an average of 11.71. His strike-rate was poor at 13. 33 was his highest-score, and didn’t have any wickets to show. Mind you, Samit is one of the upcoming fast bowling all-rounders in the country, and had managed to make the headlines in last year’s Cooch Behar Trophy, where he had scored 362 runs in eight matches, and picked up 16 wickets as well.
