The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 has name as replaced the Karnataka Premier League, or KPL, following many betting and match-fixing allegations in 2022. In remembrance of the late Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodiyar, the last king of Mysore, the domestic T20 cricket leagues have been renamed the Maharaja Trophy T20 KSCA.
