Kolkata Knight Riders IPL Auction 2023: Two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders went into the Auction with a total remaining purse of Rs 7.05 crore. They had 11 slots to fill, but ended up buying 8 players at the auction.

Kolkata’s standout buy was in-form domestic batter N Jagadeesan who smashed 277 runs in a List A game for Tamil Nadu. He was bought for mere Rs 90 Lakh. KKR focused more on domestic talent, but also had some made some cheap picks at the auction. Their standout overseas pick was Bangladesh Test skipper Shakib Al Hasan.
