India tour of West Indies
West Indies sealed the 5-match T20I series against India 3-2 as The Men in Maroon beat India by 8 wickets to win the fifth T20I in Florida. India had leveled the 5-match T20I series against West Indies 2-2 after beating the Men in Maroon by 9 wickets to pick up an emphatic victory. Coming off a 2-1 victory in the ODI series, that too in the World Cup 2023 year, India’s T20I campaign against West Indies started off poorly, with India losing the first two games unexpectedly.
IND vs WI 1st T20I
West Indies defeated India surprisingly in the first T20I by 4 runs. The Indian team, led by skipper Hardik Pandya, failed to capitalize on the situation and ended up losing the game by a close margin. Jason Holder was adjudged the Man of the Match for his performance in the first T20I.

IND vs WI 2nd T20I
West Indies continued to ride on their winning run to defeat India by 2 wickets in the second T20I. Hardik Pandya, the Indian skipper, faced questions regarding the selection of the side’s playing XI as well as his bowling options as India lost the game.
