IPL 2025: Glenn Phillips was a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp in the last concluded edition of the Indian Premier League. Glenn Phillips is one of the striking middle-order batters known for his excellent shots. However, Glenn Phillips did not get much chance in the last concluded edition of the IPL.

The Kiwi all-rounder made his IPL debut back in the 2021 edition for the Rajasthan Royals. In the Mega Auction of IPL 2022, Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Glenn Phillips for INR 1.50 crore.

Glenn Phillips IPL teams

Phillips formerly featured for Rajasthan Royals in IPL back in 2021 and was snapped up by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2022 auction for Rs 1.5 Crore. Glenn Phillips has plenty of experience across franchise cricket tournaments across the world and was a major hit in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). His younger brother Dale Phillips is also a cricketer who represents Otago in New Zealand domestic cricket.

Glenn Phillips cricket career

Glenn Phillips made his List A debut on 24 January, 2015, in the Ford Trophy. He also made it to the Kiwis squad for the 2016 edition of U-19 World Cup. In February 2017, he was added to New Zealand’s T20I squad for their series against South Africa, after Martin Guptill was ruled out due to injury. He made his T20I debut for New Zealand against South Africa at Eden Park, Auckland, on 17 February, 2017.
