Is Suryakumar Yadav thinking about retirement after winning a T20 World Cup as captain? Well, it’s the farthest thing on the 35-year-old’s mind. In fact, he already has plans. Suryakumar wants to feature in the next edition of the T20 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, and the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Gautam Gambhir remains humble
After lifting the T20 World Cup trophy, India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir thanked his predecessor Rahul Dravid for building a strong team, Centre of Excellence (CoE) head VVS Laxman for maintaining cricket at the grassroots level, chief selector Ajit Agarkar for his honesty, and Jay Shah, former BCCI secretary, for backing him.
IPL & PSL schedule update
PCB has announced the tentative schedule for the 11th edition of the PSL, which begins on March 26. Meanwhile, the BCCI is yet to announce the schedule for IPL 2026, which begins just two days after PSL 11, on March 28. It’s been constantly delayed due to the upcoming state elections in India.
