Suryakumar Yadav injured for PBKS vs MI match?
Mumbai Indians (MI) best batter, Suryakumar Yadav, had seemingly injured himself in the IPL 2025 Eliminator against the Gujarat Titans. MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene was asked about Surya’s fitness and whether he’ll play against Punjab Kings on June 1. To this, Mahela said, “Everyone’s healthy, everyone’s fit.”

Chahal declared fit for Qualifier 2
After missing the last three matches for Punjab Kings (PBKS), Yuzvendra Chahal is expected to feature in Qualifier 2 against MI. Chahal had hurt his wrist and was on the sidelines in Qualifier 1. And although he hasn’t had a great IPL 2025 season, his availability for such a big match bodes well.

Karun Nair was left stuck at 186 after the end of the first day’s play in India A vs England Lions 1st unofficial Test. Well, the 33-year-old managed to score a glorious double hundred in the first session itself. It’s safe to assume that he’ll be one of the first names on the team sheet in the India vs England 1st Test.

No rift between Gill & Hardik Pandya
After people speculated on the internet that all wasn’t well between Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya, both cricketers took to social media to refute these rumours. Gill shared the image of them and wrote, ‘Nothing but love,’ while Hardik replied to Gill’s message by writing, ‘Always shubhu baby.’

ICC changes ODI rules
The ICC has changed playing rules for ODIs. BCCI had decided to allow IPL teams to use another ball for teams bowling second to negate the dew factor. Although the results aren’t conclusive, we have seen more reverse swing in the IPL this year. So, ICC has allowed using just one ball after the 34th over.
