After 13 matches, Lizelle Lee is the 3rd highest run-getter in WPL 2026 with 213 runs at a superb strike rate of 154.35.

Delhi Capitals (DC) batter Lizelle Lee has been caught in disciplinary trouble during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026, picking up a fine and a demerit point after an animated reaction to her dismissal against Mumbai Indians in Vadodara.

Lee fined after animated reaction to stumping decision

Lee was fined 10 per cent of her match fee and handed one demerit point for a Level 1 breach of the WPL Code of Conduct during the Women’s Premier League clash at the BCA Stadium. The incident took place in the 11th over of Delhi Capitals’ chase, when Lee was adjudged stumped for 46 following a prolonged third-umpire review.

Replays showed her bat marginally lifted as the bails were removed, a decision that clearly frustrated the in-form batter, who continued to remonstrate while leaving the field. Lee later admitted to breaching Article 2.2, relating to abuse of cricket equipment, making the match referee’s ruling final.

Despite the flashpoint, Delhi had the last word. Skipper Jemimah Rodrigues anchored the chase with an unbeaten 51 to seal a seven-wicket win, keeping the playoff race tight as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) stayed atop the table.
