The five-time champions and one of the most successful sides in Indian Premier League (IPL) history, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday, March 14 announced a one-of-a-kind event ahead of the upcoming edition of the prestigious league. The Yellow Army, who boasts of massive fan following is set to host a gala night in its first of a kind event, named ROAR’26 on March 22 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The announcement comes days after their arch-nemesis in Mumbai Indians (MI) also announced a similar sort of musical event by the name of MIX, which is set to take place on March 21 and 22 at the Jio World Garden in Mumbai. Furthermore, speaking of CSK’s initiative ROAR’26, the event is set to see the historic homecoming of the OG Super Kings in Suresh Raina, Matthew Hayden, Murali Vijay, S Badrinath and others. Moreover, fans will be able to have an immersive experience as they get to witness CSK’s practice session, along with a musical performance by the music maestro AR Rahman.
