“I watched him last year, he’s taken it to the next level. I asked him ‘where did you get the power from’. He said he’s been going to the gym, that’s good for him, India and RR,” Rohit said during the post-match presentation ceremony.

Even though RR lost the game, Jaiswal, who received the Player of the Match award, spoke out in favour of maintaining a healthy lifestyle during the presentation ceremony.
“When I completed my century, I didn’t know whether the ball went to the boundary. So I thanked God for everything. That was the highlight. Days like this definitely can happen. I want to focus on the process and work hard, and have the belief. I have been positive and am maintaining a good, fit lifestyle which is helping,” Jaiswal said.
The left-handed batter, who is now the season’s highest run-scorer with 428 runs at an average of 47.56 and a strike rate of 159.70, including a century and three half-centuries so far, may soon be seen playing for India. Furthermore, Jaiswal could establish a sort of record for an uncapped batter with at least five games left to play.
