Coming out to bat on Day 4, Australia were given some early blows as Labuschagne departed in the second over of the day with Umesh Yadav getting a wicket. Jadeja also contributed with wicket of Cameron Green. However, a quick partnership between Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc helped Australia to reach the magical 444 number before they declared the innings.
Indian openers looked positive with the bat. However, Gill had to walk out after a controversial catch decision. Skipper Rohit and Pujara looked good during their stay at the wicket but perished due to some brilliant Aussie bowling. However, Kohli and Rahane have played well and will look to continue their innings on Day 5.
