UFC News: UFC updates: The former UFC dual-weight champion has been out since UFC 264 in 2021 when he fractured his tibia and fibula. There was speculation Conor McGregor may return at the beginning of 2022, but such plans had to be abandoned because he was experiencing some pain when kicking. Conor McGregor comeback

The Irishman responded to a tweet from one of his followers. Let the haters motivate, one of his fan’s inspirational lines read. Conor tweeted in response to a supporter, “100%! But my support is what drives me the most!” Also, the notorious added to watch for his comeback as he slaughters his opponents and haters.

Dana White on McGregor return

According to UFC president Dana White, McGregor’s return is at least six months away as of October 2022. After watching Islam Makachev win the lightweight title at UFC 280, White addressed the assembled press about the next fight of ‘Notorious’ after hearing how quickly Beneil Dariush recovered from the same injury. After it was recently discovered that the Irishman hadn’t taken any USADA drug tests in 2022, a reporter queried the UFC president about whether McGregor would need to submit to six months of testing before making a comeback.

McGregor would be eligible to compete on April 23 if he rejoined USADA today, but it is not yet known when he would return to the testing pool. The 34-year-old, who has never failed a drug test, spent his year of recovery in contrast to 2021, when 11 samples of him were collected throughout the year.
