The UFC title picture has changed massively and several A-listed titlists can now offer a tough fight to Conor McGregor. However, Joe Rogan is optimistic about seeing ‘Notorious’ regain his lost position and discussed how it can be done. In a conversation with Derek from ‘More Plates More Dates’, the UFC commentator talked about Conor McGregor’s potential UFC future.

Joe Rogan said, “He [Conor McGregor] could, he certainly could. The reason why Floyd Mayweather was elite even at the top of his game, I don’t think you ever forget where you came from. Some people do, some people definitely get soft.”

He continued, “I think Conor could still do it. The real question for me with Conor is what’s going on with his leg? His leg snapped in half, and no one. I mean, no one in combat sports has had their leg snapped in half and come back and been the same or better.”

Conor McGregor suffered a doctor stoppage defeat against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He wrongly planted his leg which snapped his ankle in half. A lot of people saw it as an end to McGregor’s UFC ride. However, ‘Notorious’ has teased his return frequently.
