PSG began their Ligue 1 title defence in style as they dismantled Clermont away from home.
Neymar opened the scoring for PSG after just eight minutes, when a rare miskick from Lionel Messi saw the ball fall nicely for the Brazilian, who took it down and drilled a low shot into the left corner.

Achraf Hakimi doubled his side’s lead with a superb finish from a tight angle after an excellent team move from PSG.
The third came from a set-piece PSG when Neymar whipped a delivery into the box, for Marquinhos to time his run really well to lose his marker and head home.

Clermont had a chance of their own soon after half-time when Komnen Andrić received the ball on the edge of the box before doing well to turn and fire a powerful shot just over the bar.
Lionel Messi made it 4-0 after a lovely one-two with Neymar, which saw the Argentine finish beyond the goalkeeper Mory Diaw.
That wasn’t the end of the show, though, as Messi controlled the ball on his chest before finishing with a perfectly executed overhead kick to finish a 5-0 mauling of the French minnows.
Clermont Foot travel to play Reims next Sunday, while PSG host Montpellier on Saturday.
