This tournament at Cincinnati serves as the last big preparatory tournament for the upcoming US Open Grand Slam event and top players like Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev will all be in action ijn the tournament. Daniil Medvedev leads first quarter

World No.1 Daniil Medvedev needs just two wins to secure his status as the World No.1 through the US Open and the Russian leads the draw at the Cincinnati Masters. Being the top seed, he has received a bye to the second round and will face either Botic van de Zandschulp or Maxime Cressy in the second round.

Andrey Rublev is the next top seed in the quarter and he is the sixth seed in the tournament. Like Medvedev, he has also received a bye and will be facing Albert Ramos Vinolas or  qualifier in the second round. 11th seed Taylor Fritz and 16th seed Grigor Dimitrov are the other seeded players in the quarter. Nick Kyrgios, who recently beat Medvedev in the Canadian Open is also part of this quarter and he faces Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the first round.

Stefanos Tsitsipas headlines second quarter

Fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas leads the second quarter of the draws. The Greek will open his campaign directly in the second round and he will face either Filip Krajinovic or Daniel Evans. Tsitsipas is likely to face eighth seed Hubert Hurkacz in the quarterfinals as he is the next big seed in the quarter. Hurkacz too has received a bye to the second round and will be facing the winner between Benjamin Bonzi and John Isner.

The other seeded player in this draw is 12th seed Matteo Berrettini. Berrettini faces Frances Tiafoe in the first round. 13th seed Diego Schwartzman is also part of this draw and he will begin his campaign against Alex Molcan.

Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud leads third quarter

Fifth seed Casper Ruud and Carlos Alcaraz are placed in the third quarter. Both the players have received bye to the second round. While Casper Ruud is awaiting a winner between Ben Shelton and a qualifier, Alcaraz will face either Mackenzie MDonald or Nikoloz Basialshvili in the second round. This quarter has some big names likes Stan Wawrinka and Marin Cilic, both the players will be facing a qualifier in the first round.

Rafael Nadal headlines final quarter

Rafael Nadal is all set to participate in the Cincinnati Masters ahead of the US Open. He is the second seed and leads the final quarter he will play directly in the second round and will face either Borna Coric or a qualifier. The other seeded players in this quarter are 7th seed Felix Auger Aliassime, 11th seed Jannik Sinner and 15th seed Roberto Bautista Agut are part of this quarter.

Iga Swiatek leads first quarter

World No.1 Iga Swiatek leads the first quarter of the Women’s singles draw, she had received a bye to the second round and will face the winner between Sloane Stephens and Alize Cornet in the second round. It is to be noted that it was Cornet who brought an end to Swiatek’s win streak this year at Wimbledon.

Garbine Muguruza is  the next top seed in the quarter. The eighth seed will face Elena Rybakina or Exempt Special in the second round. 11th seed Coco Gauff also fids herself in this quarter and faces a qualifier in the first round, while Jelena Ostapenko will be up against Canadian Open runner-up Beatriz Haddad Maia.

Paula Badosa and Ons Jabeur headline second quarter

Third seed Paula Badosa leads the second quarter and having received a bye to the second round, she ill be facing a qualifier in the opener. Fifth seed Ons Jabeur too is leading the second quarter and she will face Catherine McNally or Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the second round. Belinda Bencic and Simona Halep are the other seeded players in this quarter. Belinda Bencic, who is the 12th seed will face Karolina Muchova in the first round, while Halep will be up against Karolina Muchova.

Maria Sakkari leads third quarter 

Fourth seed Maria Sakkari and 7th seed Jessica Pegula are the top seeds in the third quarter. Both the players have received a bye to the second round. While Sakkari will begin her campaign against Alison van Uytvanck or a qualifier in the second round, Pegula will face the winner between Bianca Andreescu or Camila Giorgi in her opener.

One of the most aniticipated matches of this tournament is between Serena Williams and Emma Raducanu and both the players are part of this draw. They will play each other in the first round contest. Raducanu is the 10th seed. 14th seed Karolina Pliskova also finds herself in this quarter and she will take on Venus Williams in the first round.

Anett Kontaveit is the top seed 

World No.2 Anett Kontaveit leads the final quarter of the women’s draws and has received a bye to the second round, where she will be facing a qualifier. 6th seed Aryna Sabalenka is the next top seed in the quarter and she is likely to face Martina Trevisan in the second round. Naomi Osaka is also part of this quarter and she will be up against Shuai Zhang in the first round. 13th seed Leylah Fernandez will begin her campaign against Ekaterina Alexandrova.
