It has been revealed that a settlement has been reached among both the parties and a reported amount of £3.9billion has been paid by Wyss.
The sale of the club has been processed after the UK government imposed sanctions on the former Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. Owing to the sanctions that have been imposed, Abramovich is forced to sell his beloved club. These sanctions have been levied after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Abramovich having close associations with Vladamir Putin.
