Chelsea New Manager: Premier League Live: Chelsea owners are looking for a permanent manager and they are ticking a few options. The Belgian did very well during his stint with Burnley which is impressive. He has transformed Burnley’s game of play and took them back to the Premier League in his first year in charge.
According to 90min, Kompany was on Chelsea’s radar. However, the story ended with a refusal. Former Bayern Munich head Julian Nagelsmann was also an option but he took one step back in the race.
Chelsea now have eyes on Mauricio Pochettino who is on priority. However, Tottenham can also consider recalling their former manager. The Spurs have also locked the name of Luis Enrique. Reports have named Celtic’s Ange Postecoglou as an outsider for Chelsea’s manager role.

Burnley’s head was asked about his interest from Chelsea, Kompany denied it and said, “I said I’m not engaging on any of these conversations,”
Meanwhile, Kompany is also involved with Tottenham and these are sort of rumours but we can see the update later in the month.
Kompany also added, “I have too much at this moment in time in my head in terms of wanting to win football matches. That’s the only thing I care about.”
Chelsea recently saw the withdrawal of Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique’s name is almost out. Chelsea can now think about Mauricio Pochettino. The former Spurs and PSG manager had a talk with the Chelsea hierarchy and appears to have emerged as the leading candidate.
If we talk about Kompany, he is a wonderful manager and his job with Burnley is outstanding but Chelsea is a different club. Pochettino has an edge when it comes to experience.
