This year has not been much of a success for Rockstar Games. Though their 8 year old classic, GTA 5 surpassed 150 million sales this year, it hadn’t caused much of an impact in the gaming world. The fans were really annoyed by Rockstar Games when they released the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto: Ther Trilogy – The Definitive Edition which turned out to be a huge blunder. The remasters featured GTA Vice City, GTA III and San Andreas, which was immediately pulled out from sale after the launch due to tons of glitches that messed up the game. To pacify the situation, Rockstar Games are giving away some of their titles for free.
The fans filed various complaints and refund requests after the GTA Trilogy Remastered got removed from sale. This led Rockstar Games to issue an apology to all the fans and they managed to push out a series of updates which improved the remasters significantly. Rockstar Games have already gifted all the three original versions of the game to the fans who bought the remastered edition and now they are planning more. Rockstar Games recently confirmed that those who have bought the GTA Trilogy Remastered will be able to download another Rockstar game title for free. Users can choose any one from a list of Rockstar games which includes, Max Payne 3, Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A Noire, GTA 5: Premium Edition and GTA 4: Complete Edition.
This offer will be only valid till January 5, 2022 and the list is quite impressive. Players are suggested to go for L.A Noire as it is pure masterpiece and one of the best detective games out there. Rockstar Games are also giving out Virtual Currency to players which they can redeem either in Red Dead Online or GTA Online. PC gamers who like action-adventure games can’t go wrong with Max Payne 3 and classic Rockstar lovers should opt for Bully: Scholarship Edition. Go get them now!
