CDL Major IV- Glitches in games are a nuisance if they interfere with the gameplay. While it is quite utopian to expect games to be free of such technicall issues, the most that gamers can expect is to get the glitches fixed in due time with the developers’ interference. However, these glitches go unnoticed at times, and end up playing a vital role in games, especially in competitive segments. Recently a major game-breaking bug surfaced during CDL Major IV between NYSL and LA Thieves and almost resulted in a biased outcome. For more news related to Call of Duty, follow InsideSport.IN

CDL Major IV: Everything regarding the glitch revealed

The recent major game-breaking glitch that surfaced recently was during the finals of the CDL Major IV. New York Subliners and LA Thieves were engaged in Vanguard to claim the top spot in the championship final when the glitch came in. Dylan Hannon, aka Envoy of LA Thieves was the one who came across the glitch.

The gamer climbed up a ladder and was unable to pull out his primary SMG. Since there was an opponent in front of him, he had no other choice but to resist with his pistol. But it was ineffective and he was eliminated quickly thereby losing the round. The bug not only pushed LA Thieves to the limits but was also highly demotivating for the entire faction.

The exploitative bug could’ve proved fatal for LA Thieves and could’ve potentially lost them the title. However, the team displayed significant skills and came out on top at the end of the day.

Once the clip of the glitch went viral, it was revealed by several Call of Duty fans that it has been in the system for a long time. Gamer LAG Pierce revealed the glitch back in February. It is evident that the developers did not bother to fix the glitch even after so much time has passed.

Time and again, players have called out Activision regarding the glitches in Call of Duty titles. While the developers have mostly addressed all the issues, a lot of them continue to persist in the game even to this day. Not only professional gamers but casual gamers have also expressed their disappointment. The recent incident which surfaced once again exposed that a major patch up needs to be carried out to make the title free from such glitches.

Since the incident had the ability to influence the results of a finals event, gamers can expect Activision to address it in the near future.
