‘Canelo Wins’: Boxing Fans Predict Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford at 168

Terence Crawford has welcomed the idea of fighting the winner of Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo for the undisputed super middleweight title.

Already a two-weight undisputed champion, ‘Bud’ wants to make it three by taking a big leap from 147 lbs (welterweight) to 168 lbs (super middleweight). Despite avoiding a potential clash against Canelo Alvarez a few weeks, Terence Crawford has now changed his stance.

The first man to become undisputed in two-weight classes, Terence Crawford, recently joined Joe Rogan on his podcast and shed views on several things. Meanwhile, he talked about the upcoming Canelo vs Charlo fight.

‘Bud’ said, “168, yeah. Yeah, if he [Canelo] win yeah. If he win or [Jermell] Charlo the winner. I want to be three-time undisputed.”

Terence Crawford is unbeaten as a professional, holding a 40-0 record with 31 KOs. Meanwhile, Canelo Alvarez has 57 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws with 39 KOs in his favor.

Both Alvarez and Crawford are two of the greatest of this era and it will be intriguing to see them fight. While several people believe ’Bud’ Crawford would be a problem for Canelo, the Mexican star has a hefty number of people backing him to win the bout at 168 lbs.

I think Canelo is too strong for Crawford. Canelo is also very experienced, has good speed, one of the best chins and has power. Crawford is special but Canelo might be asking too much. It would be a fight that Canelo would have to lose in order for Crawford to win if u get me.

Canelo would be to big, huge jump for Crawford the only way he can win is by a points decision as Canelo has never been knocked out GGG couldn’t do it so I doubt Bud would, feel the weight would be to much Canelo either late stoppage or a decision

Following his exit from Matchroom Promotions, Canelo Alvarez has signed a three-fight deal with PBC, starting off by facing Jermell Charlo next month. Depending on what turns out in that bout, it will be interesting to outline the future fights.
