Due to a sad accident, Tristan was unable to compete on the same level as his bigger brother despite having talent. In a now-viral interview, Tristan revealed that, despite being a European champion, he had suffered a major shoulder injury in an accident in Transylvania. By accident, his promising kickboxing career was entirely over.

Tristan Tate mentioned “I was known as the Talisman. I was the European champion. I was doing very well but when I was training for my European title defence a taxi driver in Transylvania crashed and damaged my shoulder quite badly so I will never be able to compete Again.”

Although they were both past European champions and highly skilled kickboxers, the Tate brothers left the sport early in their careers. The main reason was that kickboxing didn’t pay them enough and, given the risk, neither of them was eager in continuing.

Tristan has known Andrew since they were young and greatly respects him. Tristan felt positive he would lose to Andrew if they engaged in a kickboxing match when asked about it.

What is the net worth of the Tate brothers is a more pertinent question given that they share everything, including money.

The combined wealth of Andrew and Tristan Tate will be more than $500 million by 2022.

When you consider that they were raised on a council estate in Luton, England and that they started from scratch, it is rather amazing.
