BMSD 2022: Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown, the first-ever official BGMI LAN event is set to kick off on 21st July 2022. Krafton invited a total of 24 teams on the basis of their performance in the past official BGMI tournaments. These teams will be participating in the BGMI Showdown featuring a prize pool of 15,00,000 INR. The winner of the BMSD 2022 will receive an invite to the upcoming PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 Afterparty Showdown featuring a 1,000,000 USD prize pool. Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown: Format
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown event will take place from 21st July to 24th July 2022. The league stage of the event will take place from 21st to 23rd July 2022 where teams will battle to qualify for the finals. In League Stage, there will be a total of 18 matches and each day will see a total of six matches. The top 16 teams with the highest cumulative points will proceed to the finals of BMSD 2022. The finals of the event will take place on the 24th of July where the top 16 teams will play a total of six decider matches. The winner of the event will get a chance to represent the country in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 Afterparty Showdown.
