Billy Graham’s health update
According to a GoFundMe website, the former wrestler, whose actual name is Eldridge Wayne Coleman, has been dealing with health problems for several months. As of April 26, he weighed 80 pounds less and was coping with renal, heart, and lung issues.
His family has made a donation request. Graham’s wife, according to the GoFundMe page, “is doing the best she can to work full time while also doing all she can for her husband.” The former wrestler’s treatment is only partially covered by insurance, and the costs are rising. Just over $15,000 had been raised as of Monday night.
Billy Graham career
Billy Graham tried out for the Canadian Football League before his illustrious wrestling career but gained notoriety for an outstanding bodybuilding career. Graham began his wrestling career in 1969, signing with several firms until his WWE debut in 1975. At the time, the WWE was known as the World Wide Wrestling Federation.
Graham last appeared with WWE in a Monday Night Raw show in January 2006. He entered into a legendary agreement with the business in 2015, and it was extended in 2021.
By then, many of the most well-known wrestlers of the day, including Ric Flair, Austin Idol, Jesse Ventura, and Hulk Hogan, had adopted his in-arena appearance. Wrestlers like Steve Austin and Triple H started copying his appearance and demeanor when wrestling grew in popularity in the 1980s and 1990s.
He won the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship once during his WWE career, back in 1977. The WWE Hall of Fame Class 2004 included Ventura and Sgt—slaughter and Billy Graham.
