The short events, introduced by the devs and several leaks indicating the change of cycle refer to the arrival of a new version or some sort of change. The intensity around the new version will increase in the coming days as the community is nearing the 2.4 Update. Hence, the new version will play a major role in indicating whether the title is returning to the play store or not.
