Battlegrounds Mobile India was launched in India more than half a year ago. As expected, the Indian rebranded version of PUBG Mobile exploded into popularity once it went live. From introducing grand events to celebrate its launch to introducing its exclusive esports circuit, the game is already back with all its might. However, Krafton has revealed nothing about the lighter version of the game, globally known as PUBG Mobile Lite. Indian players with low-end devices are unable to explore the BGMI experience properly as their devices do not meet the hardware support requirements. Thus, the demand for BGMI Lite has remained high. But are we really getting BGMI Lite anytime soon? The answer is Yes. Krafton has recently introduced a survey inside BGMI that includes multiple questions about PUBG Mobile Lite. The survey mainly meant to understand if Indian players still want the lighter experience of the game. Among with a bunch of other questions, it asks questions directly related to PUBG Mobile Lite’s experience so far while one of these asks that if BGMI players would like to switch to PUBG Mobile Lite.

Krafton asked, “Why do you need(want) Lite Version? “. There were four options. They were ‘ I can’t play the game with my low device’ another one was ‘Can play but would get higher frame rates, and a better experience. However, the most answered option from the poll was “I can’t play BGMI on my low-end device”. It clearly suggests that gamers having low-end devices are not able to play the current version.
