With just 3 months remaining for the ICC World Cup 2023, the tickets are set to be released next week. However, ever since the release of the ICC World Cup Schedule, the prices of the hotels, especially the luxury hotels in Ahmedabad has skyrocketed. Fans have already started booking for the much anticipated India vs Pakistan match set to take place on 15th October.
The ICC is yet to release the World Cup 2023 tickets, but it is believed that the tickets are set to be released for the fans on 1st July. The entire process of booking and getting the tickets will be digitalized, going at par with the modern world.

“There are a few last-minute details to be finalised. We are trying to make the entire experience digital. We are in talks with the partners. Ticket details should be out by next week,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport
“Yes, we are aware of the complaints by fans on the difficulties. But not everything can be controlled. High hotel prices are not in our control,” the official added.
It is no surprise that fans are excited for the India vs Pakistan clash set to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. And as a result in some luxury hotels the ticket prices for 15th October has exponentially rose to 10 times. In some hotels, the room rentals for the day has gone up to 1 lakh rupees.

Ahmedabad will host a total of 5 games. The tournament will kick start at Ahmedabad with England facing New Zealand. In the group stage, India will play one game at this venue against arch rivals Pakistan. The finals of the ICC World Cup 2023, set to take place on 19th November will also bel held at this iconic venue.
