David de Gea transfer: Former Man United goalkeeper David de Gea is now linked with Bundesliga giants. Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing free agent, David de Gea.
As per the fresh report of Sport Bild, the German club wants to sign a new goalkeeper due to the unavailability of their first-choice keeper, Manuel Neuer who is still not ready for full fitness. He didn’t even start full training. He faced an injury in January and his recovery process continues.
Meanwhile, Bayern have a back-up option in their squad, Yan Sommer who is linked with Serie A side Inter Milan. Sommer wants to play regular games and he is not interested to carry with the Bundesliga champions. He knows he will be ignored when Neuer is fit again.

To solve this goalkeeping problem, Bayern is scouting in the market to find the best option. They have now stopped their search and focused on former United star De Gea who is a free agent. He left Old Trafford after completing the contract last month.
Bayern have also zeroed few more names in the pursuit of a new goalkeeper. According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Juventus keeper Wojciech Szczesny is also on their radar but, the Old Lady is not ready to sell the Polish keeper. David Raya is the third option in this list Brentford is demanding a huge amount as a transfer fee.
Inter Milan recently sold Andre Onana to Man United, so they want Sommer as a replacement. Bayern has asked for €6m as a transfer fee. Meanwhile, the deal is likely to happen due to a good relationship between Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Giuseppe Marotta. If Inter gets Sommer then Bayern will go with full strength to sign De Gea next month. Currently, they have Sven Ulreich who will be the first-choice goalkeeper in few matches.
