Previously, Barcelona have announced that they have activated their fourth financial lever of the summer after selling 24.5% of Barca Studios to Orpheus Media. Club president Joan Laporta has been busy trying to improve the Blaugrana’s precarious financial situation and has been offsetting portions of revenue streams in exchange for cash up front.
Players like Robert Lewandowski, Andreas Christensen, Raphina, and Franck Kessie have been registered before Barcelona begin their La Liga campaign against Rayo Vallecano. Jules Kounde is yet to be registered with Barcelona lacking adequate cash.

However, now that Barcelona has activated their fourth lever it will not be a problem for the Blaugrana club to register the players. Jules Kounde will be allowed to be registered once the club manages to free some cash by player sales.
Ahead of the opening fixture, Barcelona manager Xavi said, “We are really optimistic about the players’ registration,”
“We’re still planning the season, we’ll see until August 31. There must be departures for there to be signings. We are working to have a competitive team,” Xavi concluded.
