Barcelona continue their trek up the LaLiga standings following a 4-0 win over Osasuna on Sunday. It was one-way traffic at the Camp Nou as Xavi’s men claimed control of the match right from the first whistle.
Thanks to the likes of an in-form Ferran Torres and Ousmane Dembélé, the hosts found themselves up two goals by the 20-minute mark. The Frenchman would then record his second assist of the night to tee up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a third roughly five minutes later.
Coming out after the break the hosts continued to dominate on the pitch and recorded a total of 24 shots compared to Osasuna’s four. Riqui Puig eventually came off the bench and added a fourth for the hosts and wrapped up a key victory for Xavi’s side.
The statement performance means Barcelona now move up to third in the LaLiga standings above Atlético Madrid while Osasuna sit 11th.
