The film intends to convey the concept that everything Benzema touches on the pitch turns into gold. Benzema had a series of hand injuries in 2019 which led to him wearing a hand bandage for every game. In the film the white bandage turns to gold, celebrating the inspiring story of a young boy born in France who reached the pinnacle of world football.

Karim Benzema has been rightfully awarded the Ballon d’Or for having an incredible last year. The Frenchman was a pivotal figure for both his national team, Franch and club side, Real Madrid
After returning to the French national team in 2020, Karim Benzema has enjoyed stellar success with his national team. In the UEFA Nations league, Benzema scored for France in both the semi-final and Final to help the Les Blues claim their first-ever Nations League title.
At the club level, Benzema led from the front to help Real Madrid win the Spanish Super Cup, La Liga and the Champions League. In the Champions League, Benzema became one of the few players to score hat-tricks in consecutive matches after he registered hat-tricks against PSG and Chelsea. Once again, he led from the front to help Real lift the coveted title. At the same time, Benzema scored 15 goals in the UCL campaign to win the Golden Boot.
